Assignment 3: Self-Portrait Filters-**

1. Open Photo Booth > Take one good picture of yourself > Save it on your USB drive > Close Photo Booth
2. Open Photoshop > File > New
• In the title bar type: your name- filters
• Width- 8.5 inches
• Height- 11 inches
• Resolution 300
• Color mode- RBG
• Background Transparent
• Click OK
• Go to View > Show > Grid
• Go to View > Snap to > Grid

3. Go to File > Open > Find your image on your flash drive > Open
• Use the Crop Tool in the Toolbox to crop your picture down and get rid of unnecessary background.

4. Using the move tool, drag your photo to your new Photoshop file titled your name- filters

5. The picture will need to be resized.
• Got to Edit > Transform > Scale
• A box with anchor points will appear.
• Hold down the shift key and drag one of the images corners in until it is small enough that three of the picture will fit side by side

6. After you have the picture sized you will need to duplicate it 8 times.
• Place your mouse over the image and press the option/alt key
• You will see double arrows, one black, one white.
• While holding down the option key, click, drag, let go of the mouse
• You now have to of the same photo and in the layers pallet you have 3 layers. REPEAT 7 MORE TIMES.
• File > Save As > Save to your flash drive

7. You will have 3 rows with 3 pictures on each row. Space them out evenly. Leave enough room below each picture for text.

8. Change each picture by applying different filters.
9. Label the layer with the filter you used in it.
10. Using the Text Tool from the Toolbox write the name of the filter used on each picture underneath it.
10. Save As > your name_face filters >Change the format to a .jpg file
11. post to your wiki grid

Assignment 4.1: Photo fix*
Watch this tutorials-

Clone Stamp Tool

Download this image and use the clone stamp tool to remove all lens flairs and water spots.

• Extra points for manually changing the levels of the photo so it does not look washed out. Do not use auto levels!
Save as > your name_photo fix > format > .jpg > put on wiki

1) An animal, person or other living thing
2) A landscape, ocean scape, cityscape
Remove the #1 photo from it's background and put it in the #2 photo
Save as > your name_background change > format > .jpg > put on wiki
